Dr Ntebo Ngozwana

Board Member

Dr Ntebo Ngozwana is a Skills development Specialist with over 30 years of combined experience in research, skills development, enterprise development and sector policy formulation. She is currently the Director Research and Development at the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) South Africa. Her key achievements at the cidb include the development of policy instruments to advance skills enterprise development on major infrastructure projects. Her interests include the development and sustainability of women enterprises, supporting young entrants to the construction industry, with a special interest in Technical and Vocational Education and graduates. Ntebo has been actively involved with driving the participation of the construction trades in WorldSkills International competitions. She is responsible for managing the cidb’s engagement with higher education institutions through its Postgraduate Conference, the Doctoral Workshop as well as the cidb Centres of Excellence. Her key responsibilities at the cidb include the establishment of an industry research agenda to inform industry development and transformation and facilitating the participation of construction schools in the BRICS Future Skills Challenges, and the introduction of 4IR technologies in the construction industry.
