Angie is a multidisciplinary researcher and an educator par excellence. Her teaching and research areas cover but are not limited to development, health, science communication, media studies, management, and moral issues. Health communication is Angie's core research focus.

Dr. Olushola Ndefo Okigbo is a Chief Lecturer in Quantity Surveying with extensive experience in academia, construction cost management, and project management. She holds a PhD in Quantity Surveying and is a registered Quantity Surveyor and member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS, RQS). Her research interests focus on Organisational Performance, Project Construction Management, and Health and Safety Performance, with particular interest in improving efficiency, productivity, and safety outcomes in the construction industry.

Dr Taiye Oladoyin Alagbe is a senior lecturer, academic, and researcher in architecture and the built environment. She is affiliated with the Department of Architecture at Bells University of Technology, Ota Nigeria, where her work focuses on sustainable architectural systems; inclusive green architecture, particularly in housing; and the design and evaluation of built environments. Her research interests encompass sustainable solutions, building maintenance, universal design, environmental wellbeing and the application of sustainable emerging technologies in architectural practice. She has contributed to research examining issues such as maintenance culture in housing, accessibility and usability of public facilities, and space management in infectious disease isolation centres.  Dr Alagbe's more recent work has explored sustainable housing and the socioeconomic factors influencing building maintenance and housing conditions in Ogun State, Nigeria. Through her academic and research activities, Dr Alagbe contributes to the development of context-specific, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to architecture and the built environment in Nigeria. She is a Building Resilience Index (BRI) Assessor for the World Bank/IFC and has won the Vice Chancellor's Award of Excellence as a recognised researcher for the year 2025 and the Postgraduate College Award for Academic Excellence in PhD Architecture 2025.

Professor Kulomri Jipato Adogbo, PhD, FNIQS, RQS, PMP, is a distinguished academic with over two decades of professional, academic, and institutional leadership experience in the Nigerian built environment. She is currently the Registrar of the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN), a position she assumed in February 2026, where she provides strategic leadership for professional regulation, standards enforcement and registration within the quantity surveying profession in Nigeria. She is also a Professor of Quantity Surveying at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where she has served since 2007, contributing extensively to teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, and strategic academic administration. Her expertise spans project management, construction procurement, contract administration, financial control, procurement governance, stakeholder management, gender studies in construction and professional regulation. She has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Construction Procurement and Contracts, Project Management, Procurement Fundamentals, Financial Management, and Applied Research Methods, while supervising numerous MSc and PhD candidates in Quantity Surveying, Procurement Management, and Project Management. Professor Adogbo is also an accomplished researcher and grant winner, with several funded projects from TETFund and the British Council, alongside extensive scholarly publications in project management, procurement, risk management, and construction leadership.

My Academic & Research Journey   I am a Quantity Surveying professional and researcher with an academic background from the University of Johannesburg (UJ). I hold a National Diploma in Building Science, BTech in Quantity Surveying, and BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying.   My research focuses on digital transformation and collaboration in the South African construction industry, particularly how technology improves communication, cost management, and project delivery.   My work includes Challenges of Digital Collaboration in the South African Construction Industry, Digitalisation in Construction Industry: Construction Professionals’ Perspective, and the book Challenges of Digital Collaboration in the South African Construction. I also studied the behavioural intention of construction organisations to adopt digital collaboration in South Africa.   This research combines Quantity Surveying, construction management, and digital innovation, which I continue to apply in my professional work across the construction and mining sectors.

Dr. Ifeyinwa Ijeoma Obianyo is a seasoned Lecturer and Researcher in the Civil Engineering department at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja. She holds a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2010), an M.Sc., and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (Sustainable Construction Materials specialty), from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja. Dr. Obianyo's research focus includes Eco-friendly Building and Construction Materials, Low-carbon and Sustainable Concrete, Soil Stabilization, Waste Valorization for Construction Applications, Statistical Modelling of Strength of Materials, Mechanical Behaviour of Building and Construction Materials, Gender Violence, Water Resources and Climate change. Her academic career commenced at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, where she served as a lecturer and researcher, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Engr. Dr. Obianyo also served as the Acting Head of Department (HoD) of the Department of Civil Engineering, African University of Science and Technology, Abuja.    A highly productive scholar, Engr. Dr. Obianyo has authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications and serves as a Reviewer of scientific journal papers for more than 10 Scopus-indexed journals. She has a Scopus h-index of 19, a Google Scholar h-index of 21 and an i10-index of 31, with over 1,000 citations, underscoring her strong impact in the global research community. Her research interests span eco-friendly and low-carbon construction materials, sustainable concrete, soil stabilization, waste valorization for construction applications, and environmental sustainability. She has also served as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission, contributing her expertise to international research and innovation initiatives.   Engr. Dr. Obianyo is the Managing and Publishing Editor of the Nile Journal of Engineering and Applied Science and serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Discover Civil Engineering Journal (Springer Nature). She is also an active reviewer for several Scopus-indexed international journals, contributing to the advancement of high-quality scientific research.   Her academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards and fellowships. She was a recipient of the World Bank–Pan African Materials Institute (PAMI) Academic Centre of Excellence Scholarship (2016–2020) for her Master’s and PhD studies. During her doctoral programme, she won the RILEM PhD Travel Grant to attend the RILEM Conference in the United Kingdom. She also received a PAMI Research Fellowship at The Ohio State University, USA (2020).    Over the years, Engr. Dr Obianyo has been mentoring students toward academic and professional excellence. She has supervised over 15 undergraduate projects and over 20 postgraduate theses. She is currently serving as the M.Eng. thesis Co-ordinator (2023 till date) and a member of the Academic Quality Assurance Committee (AQAC) of Nile University of Nigeria (2024 till date). Dr Obianyo has served as the Academic Level Advisor of 200 and 300 Level students of the Department of Civil Engineering and currently serves as the Academic Level Advisor of 400 Level students. In recognition of her outstanding service and performance, she was awarded the Exceptional Performer Award at Nile University of Nigeria (2025).   Engr. Dr. Obianyo is a COREN-registered Civil Engineer and an active member of professional bodies, including the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers (NICE), Organization of Women in Science in Developing World (OWSD) and Nigerian Young Academy (NYA).    Beyond academia, Engr. Dr. is deeply committed to social impact. She is the Founder of the Empowering Women and Children Initiative, through which she advocates for inclusion, capacity building, and access to opportunities for women and young people. As a passionate STEM advocate, she is particularly devoted to inspiring girls and young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Engr. Dr. Ifeyinwa Ijeoma Obianyo exemplifies academic excellence, professional integrity, and a deep commitment to sustainable development and gender equity in STEM fields. Her work continues to shape the future of civil engineering while inspiring the next generation of engineers and researchers.

I'm Oribamise Oluwatosin Ann, a Civil Engineering master's student at the University of South Africa. My research explores using agricultural residues to replace cement, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals and Circular Economy principles. I'm passionate about driving innovation and solving real-world problems, with a goal to become an impactful researcher and make a positive difference in my community.

  Miriam Chukwuma-Uchegbu is an  academic and researcher with over two decades of architectural education mentoring experience. She is fully registered with Architects Registration Council of Nigeria as a consultant Architect. She read architecture in Abia State University Uturu for her first and second degrees(B.Sc & M.Sc) and her Ph.D in post occupancy studies at Imo State University, Owerri. She started her career as an academic at the Federal Polytechnic  Nekede Owerri from 2004-2018. She joined the Federal University of Technology,Owerri in 2019. She currently serves as the Head of Architecture Department. Her scholarly work focuses on post occupancy studies, heritage architecture, architectural education and gender studies.Her contribution continue to shape architectural education and practice in Nigeria.
